Re: Fuck Smash Bros.
I suppose it's the nostalgia goggles talking, but yeah, I think the first one's the best. I suppose my opinion would differ if I had more of a chance to play Melee more than I actually did.

Nah, it's some random pic I found on either konachan, danbooru, or gelbooru. Not sure if I still have the original pic, and if I do, it's buried somewhere.

Re: Fuck Smash Bros.
64 version > melee > brawl
64 version: Falcon infinite up aerials, better (and funnier) smash attacks, taunt canceling, more 0-to-death combos, every character was equally master-able.
Melee: Falcon knee, better physics, fancier combos, Marth, wave-dashing, moonwalking, more glitch kills, toned-down items.
Brawl: Tripping, floating like a freakin feather, falco infinite ground hit lasers, Pit arrow spam, SLOW, stupid and cheap final smashes.
The game progressively got less intricate over the years. I say intricate because the creators of the game intended for it to be not a competitive game, but a casual game meant to be fun for all instead of free-for-all. So technically, the game did not get worse by definition, but less competitive. I personally like the 64 version better than any of the others.

Almost as hard as fighting a Holy Paladin.

I remember playing Brawl with You and ZL when Brawl first came out. You'd spam the same attack over and over...MycathatesyouAMV wrote:Suck on my Meta Knight
I haven't played it with you in a long time, so I'm probably terrible at it compared to you now.

Re: Fuck Smash Bros.
I actually have been obsessed with all of the super smash games since I was tiny ~.~
N64: Awesomeness for it's time
melee: I was amazed when this was released, I use to be able to kick major ass with pikachu, but since so much time has passed I have started failing at melee
I didn't like the cheap tricks a lot more advanced players would do (like spiking a person right off the edge like a volleyball with fox...works even if you have 0 HP ;_;)
Brawl: I was very disappointed when this released, however I learned that most of the characters have a different feel in this version than melee. And for some weird reason I am a lot better in brawl...( I barely play it o.o )
IMO I like Brawl and melee both in their owns ways and when I play with people I be sure to have both games with us! XD

Re: Fuck Smash Bros.
thats really the biggest complaint with brawl from experienced players. Wins aren't as based on player skill as in melee, apparently. I was actually really happy with brawl because it had been a long long time since i last played melee so i didn't notice any of the differences as far as how the characters played, and i wasn't into all the deeper mechanics so brawl was the superior game no doubt for me at the time.Tearx wrote:I actually have been obsessed with all of the super smash games since I was tiny ~.~
