Filesize is not something to judge quality by. It's one of those assumptions that people tend to make: "OH IT WEIGHTS MORE IT MUST BE BETTER!!1" and comments alike.
I swear the best troll I've ever seen was someone releasing as 4320p120 HuffYUV+FLAC a 540p24 thing. I'm not sure if somebody actually ended up getting it, but lulz were had either way.

Still, you should know "what" went wrong, if you don't know "what" went wrong you work just by trial-error method which means you don't know anything about it.

If I made a a small mistake some where along the lines of the process theres no way I can go back and completely check everything I did. So there's a possibility I could never find what I messed up on this time.

There are only two thing which really decide the final filesize.

1) Footage itself - it's larger if you use lots of effects, grain, more fps, bigger picture...
2) Encoding - larger if you screw up or if you decide not to care about filesize.

Everything else doesn't matter, afaik.

I used grain and some minor film effects for the first like 10-15 seconds or so. But I don't see how that would've caused it to get that much larger than what I was expecting it to be. About almost 30 MB. I did change the quanitizer in Zarx, so maybe that's what effected it. Idk if compressing the video in the editing program before encoding it in Zarx affects it all.

If you went under 18, definitely. At 10 we almost speak about lossless mp4 here.

Quit trolling. It's not funny. :|
Anyway, we don't really speak about lossless H.264 unless we do --crf 0 or --qp 0. Anything else might be visually lossless, but isn't a bit exact copy, thus can't be called lossless.
Fun fact: lossless H.264 actually fucks up in NLEs ─ after tryng, I can say that it is no option for editing ;_; ─ but lossy doesn't fuck up, so a --crf 1 -I 1 (so an intra-only lossy H.264 file with an insane bitrate) works (and premiere actually humps it like a bitch better than it likes lags or huffy). It probably weights more than the lossless counterpart, too.

Iliea and FC had their match. Should be getting judged.
