Did those laser cut wood awards get made? I'd like to see how they came out! All I recall seeing when I stopped in was the kind printed and frame on plain (if high quality) paper. Were those types made more for the new awards or something?

yes, they did get made! Many of the staff are suffering from the post-kon sickness that tends to raise it's ugly head ever year and this year I was a victim too so I've been sort of out of it for the last week. Give me a bit to recover and I'll post some of the pictures I took of them!

Aw...mine wasn't wood at all. I'm guessing those were only for the original categories then, and not the bunch of new ones they introduced this year? It was nice to win, but of course paper is not nearly as proudly displayable as the laser cut awards from what I've seen of them.

yeah, sorry - not all can be laser-engraved wood plaques. This year we gave out 5 plaques and 5 certificates (with 2 plaques and 1 certificate being sponsored by outside entities) - hopefully in years to come, we can give out more!
below are some of the examples of the awards given out this year (real names removed to protect the guilty - save Vlad's as everyone knows him as such
