It all depends on how much nudity your video contained. If it's just a couple of scenes, it's ok and no "censorship" actually required. Just no hardcore hentai, please. ::)

Cast to Stone wrote:Another question, can awards be shipped if one takes part in the contest but can't attend it?

Can't say for sure right now. We have some prizes, of course, but they mostly Russian-oriented (like anime with Russian voice-over, etc). And we have some local problems with mailing DVDs to other countries. So no any guarantees.

Some videos are already up, looks like there'll be a lot of great ones this year :D

By the way, it doesn't matter when I enter my video as long as it's before November 15th, right? Because I feel that it won't be ready before next month

Right. The sooner you'll enter, the quicker your video will be premiered on the site.

I'm having problems with your video converter, it's not making my preview thing.. Where do I report that in if my Russian is just a bit rusty (as in, I know one word and that's "da")?

If you're registered on AKROSS and if by "your video converter" you mean "AMV Simple", try to post your question (in english) here.

x2 + "what am I gonna make" mode ON

Glad to hear that. I enjoyed this contestant's video a lot last year!

Need! More! Nudity!
Seriously, if it's not pron hentai, it's welcome.

You can always contact ac2009@akross.ru. We speak English there. And some other undisclosed languages.
And if by "your video converter" you mean AMVSimple GUI, the most likely reason it does not work -- you have no AviSynth installed. Yes, you need to install AviSynth and name your firstborn after it! Otherwise you'll not be blessed with its encoding awesomeness.

Of course I have avisynth installed, and all my children are named after the filters - but maybe I need a newer version? I believe I have a very outdated version..

Of course it is outdated! Everyone has an outdated version. Because we just created a new one. Like, 5 minutes ago. Here is the link.

Do we have to add that image of AKROSSCON 2009 in the video. Is it a rule or is it optional?

The link to the logo located down below in your contestant's panel. Or 1280x is not enough quality for you?

One week for animemusicvideos.org. But the video must have exactly same visual content as akross.ru version, with contest logo, etc. You may change only codec, resolution and file size.

As for the other sites, you'll have to wait until the end of the contest (Dec 15 currently).
