Postby DigitalPanther » Fri Jul 10, 2009 12:31 am

A lot of people have approached and or written me to ask for a track list for what I put in the Pre-show for the AMV contest this year. So as requested, here it is. (please note that I don’t have the full creator data for some of them so they are listed as Unknown for creator)

Anime Expo 2009 AMV Contest Pre-show Track list (in order):

“Diorama” by SDF-O Studios (Edited by Aaron Vreeland)
“Dead Fantasy I “ by Monty Oum

“The Purpose of Persocoms” by Wired Knight Productions (edited by Sean Thordsen)
“Elephant Love Medley” by XxAxelsaywhatxX (edited by Amanda Gonzales)

Thank you all for attending and making this years contest the most attended in con history. Over 6,500 people in the audience for the initial contest screening and another 750 plus present for the Re-screen/award ceremony the following day.
Next year we hope to make it better still!

See you all next year!

Small favor...Michael, DP or Panther please. I hate being called Mike. :(

unknown as in I don't have the creators information. I can't go look at the files from when it was actually entered into the contest because I wasn't running it back then. When that management team left all data left with them.
If someone has that information and would like to share it with me I would happily edit the list to reflect the correct information.

Oh, it looks like somebody finally fixed the bug that was making him show up as "Weibelius" on the Most Favorited page (or was it Most Commented?)...

Also, The Purpose of Persocoms is by The Wired Knight.

I was extremely shocked to see two of my videos up there. Especially one as old as The Purpose of Persocoms.

Awsome pre-show btw Michael, though I think Dead Fantasy won audience favorite in it :)

I hope people enjoyed my Death Note video, I'll have it on the org within the next few days provided I don't accidentally forget before Comic-con.

The way I approach the Pre-Show is I want to give some of the good videos that didn't make the finals a chance to be seen as well as some oldies but goodies and other videos I like just to mix it up a bit. For the most part the non DF vids were stuff either submitted this year or have been in the contest in years past. With a couple of exceptions because I am particularly fond of then (The Nostromo and JCD GITS vids specifically).

Purpose of Persocoms is a personal favorite from the very first time I saw it in the AX contest the year it was entered. I honestly didn't know that it and the Death Note BHS vid were yours. Wouldn't have affected my decision. :)

I had wanted to put Wizard of Ozaka in but had technical issues converting the video so maybe next year.
