We're having the OTAKON AMV CONTEST pre-screening, on June 13th, 2009 in King of Prussia, PA.

June 13th, 2009 (this upcoming saturday). Help us rate the OTAKON contest entries, so we can pick the best for the best for the 2-hour contest.

Please let me know if you're interested. Slots are limited, we can only have a certain number of people here.

Yup, shaping up to be a busy summer for weekend trips for me, too, but me and nightmistress will make the trek again this year.

I would love to check out the screening, but since I have an entry in the contest, I have a bit of a conflict of interest in that regard....lol.

I believe most of the people who go have a video entered, or at least many of them. With over 130 entries and plenty of voters, it's not like one person's rating will carry their video into the finals. I'm going and I entered a video this time around, same with nightmistress.

hmmmm....If that's the case, I'd love to come if there is space available. Anyone know how long the drive is from Baltimore to KOP, PA?

Another question.

I am a complete n00b to AMV's, so would that be an issue with regards to attending and voting?

I've only edited one AMV so far, but I work as a video editor in my day job and would be able to bring some critique experience for voting/evaluating. Does the gang mind letting an AMV n00b into the mix? If not, I completely understand.
