This is the situation. Last year I submitted a video (which didn't make finals). About two months later I realized some scenes were of questionable visual quality and replaced them with different anime. In other words, the three FLCL scenes were replaced by Pokemon, Azumanga Daioh, and Gravitation.
Now...even though half the scenes and the song are unchanged but improvements were made which raise the overall quality of the video, would I be eligible to enter it into this year's contest?

VicBond007 wrote:You can enter again, but do you really think three scenes alone make or break your video? Your call. Just saying that if I made a video that didn't get into a the contest last year, I probably wouldn't send the same video in again this year unless I had no other options.

Oh no! That is horrible news! Sorry to hear that Pwolf...I always look forward to your AMVs and it looks like I'll have to wait to see some of your new stuff. I hope you still have the motivation to restart/re-do the ones you lost. I heard there is a way for professionals to recover lost data on failed hard drives but it's massively expensive and it's not guaranteed to recover all the files.
