I've decided to send an older video I had no intention of sending to any cons but I am curious to see how well it would do. Luckily it was moved off of that hard driveAs for getting the data back, I am going to keep the drive until I can afford to get it recovered. Last time I had to do it, it cost me $300. This time it's a more advanced issue so it will most likely be upwards of $1000. And honestly, those videos are worth that much to me.
I did manage to get the premiere project file and some of the avs scripts off of it before it was unreadable so I could re-rip the dvds but at this point it's too much work when I'm already swamped with other responsibilities. I would need at least another week to get everything ripped, finish filling up the timeline, and then fine tune my edits. Just not enough time.

This is why I have a 3 independent drive arrays in my editing system so I can actually maintain 2 copies of all the projects I work on... It would of probably have been cheaper for you to buy the drives and make backups
