Yah we decided to enter since we were going.... and somehow like 10 people from our studio entered though only 5 of us made it ^^; (two didn't enter with the studio name though XD;)

OHNO, IM AGAINST CLARE (whispersreloaded) IN ROMANCE :< SAD.
Right when the list came out, I googled, and orged all of your names :P
Competition looks tough!

EDIT : Saw a few of the vids on the net...now I'm insanely nervous ><
Yeah Romance looks to be very strong this year. This is my first finals for Otakon, so I'm just happy to be in at all :P .

That's not such a bad thing. The unique thing about the comedy category is you don't want to start off "weak." There has to be a fairly big laugh to get things started. As soon as people see the comedy category intro, they're instantly hyped and ready for the funny. Don't worry about it. Comedy is the most difficult to succeed with so just making finals is a major accomplishment. As long as no one says, "Why is that in the comedy category?" you're good...

If I didn't say it already, congrats to all the finalists and good luck! 8-)

Can we request our (non-finalist) amv to be played during a specific time period in overflow? I can't make the Saturday morning session at all (non-refundable dance class that's too expensive to skip) and I'll be an hour or two late for the Friday afternoon session (doing a half-day at work). I'd like to be able to see it on the big screen so if it can be played later in the Friday session that would be awesome.

The videos are played in overflow alphabetically by studio name. if yours has not been played yet, you can request to have it played next.

chang will be there again. Suberunker will be there. And of course the other regulars (chang goes every year) Ashyukun, VegettoEX, Meri, Gambit (i think)... uhhh... thats all i know. They aren't doing any panels this year though. If I was going, I would've set one up but
