*sigh* Only one AMV for the contest this year, however I'm going to get the other ones done and have them play for Vlad's AMV room during my spotlight...just because he's that cool.

I also blame Microsoft for putting Netflix on the X-Box 360. Non-stop The Office AND Mythbusters? How could I resist?

Screening happened actually on Saturday
ended up having a meeting before and by the time I got home at nearly 4 am I had been up for around 36 hours, and slept the next 14 or so and went to work.

I am waiting on getting the notes file with the DQ's in from the secretary (its in the wrong format for open office to handle, my fault for making the base file at my mom's house on a computer with an updated version of excel)
and am currently building the spreadsheet to calculate the averages so I can start making the cuts to a 2 hour show

and I have work every night till Thursday so it may be a lil bit slow

well I will say this for the screening
Apparently the panel thought Vlad had between 4 and 6 videos entered as they watched videos with exceptional masking, and they only guessed 1 of his entries correctly
I got to secretly laugh at them through the whole 7 hours before I could reveal who did what
Thanks, I needed the laughs

If I can make it down to mom's tomorrow I can re-save the notes that I currently cant access on my home computer
after that its just data entry and removing dq'd vids from the list so i can get the average scores

I would go now, but I think my mom might object to me casually swinging by the house at 2 am

Well, to put everyone's worries to rest, I will not be competing this year (mostly because of my position as Vice Chair and cannot compete officially.)

So you can be sure there will be a new winner in the Action category this year.

Since I helped screen the videos, I can say that there were a lot of good ones this year. It might be hard for Dinger to award another Tsunami Jones award, but we'll see. ^_^

BUT, I am honored to be in Vlad's AMV spotlight at Sakura-Con this year. So if you liked my stuff, it'll be shown (and god willing), I'll be able to share some insight into how my videos work and the thought processes that went into them.

I'll definitely have videos for Exhibition next year though.
