1.) I didn't check up the AMV submissions until just now. The AMV editor of "Be a Man" listed his AMV as an Action / Comedy, but has been categorized under Action by other conventions. I thought the video to be a dramatic video, and the only funny part is, "hey, isn't this song from Mulan?"

ANimethon 15 (2008) Best Action/Adventure
2.) I couldn't find any AMV Information on the a-m-v.org website for, "I love AMVs," but I'd call it quirky, more than comedy.
3.) We didn't get many submissions, and everyone who submitted a video, that wasn't disqualified for having subtitles, TV logos, or sending me a link to their ewetoob upload, had a video the contest. What we get is what you see.
In hindsight, I'd switch the categories for khcraze16 - "A Not Very Disturbing Disturbia" and NightHawk - "Be A Man." But, what's done is done.
Next year, I will be bringing in my PC to run the AMV contest, so that we can accept all sorts of shapes, sizes, formats, and encodes. I haven't come across an AMV yet that I can't play back smoothly. This will also make it so that there won't be any skipping or pauses on the DVD presentation, as there will be no DVD.
