So I figured I would spread it out to my good friends at a-m-v.org...and pardon me for the first paragraph but it had to be in there for the retards.
Since I am in the process of making this contest popular, I need all the help I can get. So submit videos Please(I'm beggin' here)
AMV means:
Anime Music Video(for those of you who dont know), so that means no american cartoon submissions.(Sorry Boondocks fans) Video Game Music Videos are acceptable if the game is Japanese.
All videos must consist of at least 75% anime/video game
There will only be 6 Videos per category
Amvs must be between 30 seconds and 6 min in length
No more than 3 submissions per person, each one has to be in a different category
Categories:
-Action/Adventure
-Drama
-Comedy
-WTF?!?(For videos that don't any category)
Awards:
We will be giving these out at the convention, if your not present we will mail them to you.
-Best of Action/Adventure
-Best of Drama
-Best of Comedy
-Best of WTF?!?
-Best of Show
Judges Awards:
-Best Technical
-Staff Favorite
Alright the NOs:
-No major nudity or hentai(Brief Nudity is ok as long as it isn't sick)
-No songs with excessive profanity(A few words here and there are fine)
-No Creed, or Evanescence(Trying not to get Anizona in trouble)
-No subtitles(unless they are your own)
-No Trolling(for you super funkadellick amv creators out there)
-No Logos (Divx, Cartoon Network, your production name, etc...)
-No entrys will be accepted at the Convention
-If you think it violates the rules, just don't send it
Formats:
-Video
720x480(If you send in anything smaller it will be converted up...srry)
DV NTSC 29.97 fps 4:3 aspect ratio
Mpeg 1,2, Avi, h.264 (Trying to keep it simple since everything will be converted to DVD format Mpeg 2)
-Audio
Audio compressed to layer II stereo is wanted(for the DVDs)
If you have any other format other than the ones listed, email me and let me know for specific codec/encoding reasons.
Submission:
Tape Media will NOT be accepted. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule.
ALL ENTRYS are due by March 30, 2007

Name
Address
Name of Video
Name of Sources (Anime/Video game, Music)
Category you think it belongs in(we will have the final say)
E-Mail Address(If you have one)
