I'm not sure if I mentioned it before, but if you wouldn't mind using a unicode heart character whereever you can, it would be great. If you can't, that's fine.

Sadly, Nick Anglin, the Azn destroyer, will be unable to attend Matsuricon. As such, for Iron Editor Sir Scribe shall have to face the loveable Nat-chan instead! But fret not, Nat-chan has handed off the MC role to one of his staffers. To keep the competition fair both Nat-chan and Sir Scribe know the list of series being provided but neither know of the Secret Ingrediant as the new MC will choose it along with the theme.

It's going to be a good fight!

I finally have times I can post. Please keep in mind these times are tentative and subject to change.

Anyway, The AMV Contest will be shown 3 times during the convention. Friday will start at 4 PM in Main Programing, Saturday will start at noon in Mini-Main, and Sunday will start at 3 PM in the Panel Room. Keep in mind we will be presenting awards on Saturday.

There will be 4 AMV Panels. Thursday will host The World Of Japanese AMV Making at 5 PM in mini-main. Friday will host So You Want to Make an AMV (beginners) at 7 PM in the Panel Room. Sunday will host How not to Make an AMV (advanced) at 10 AM in mini-main as well as Nat-chan's Top 10 at 1 PM in the Clubroom.

We will also have 3 events at the convention. On Friday play witness to Hentai Iron Editor with seating starting at 9:30 and the main event starting at 10 PM in the Panel room. On Saturday play witness to Iron Editor with seating starting at 3 PM and the main event starting at 3:30. Also, come down and vote on the videos made during Hentai Iron Editor at AMVs Your Mother Warned you About at 10 PM in the Panel Room.

So come on down and enjoy a great lineup of AMV programing at Matsuricon!!!

I have a lot of videos. Stuff people have submitted to me, others that I had recieved for Youmacon, and then some that I was able to find myself. It's kind of a request block as well, so if someone requests something then I will show it, like the AMV Hells (namely 0). Also, we will be voting on the Hentai Iron Editor videos during this block as well to find out who the winner will be.

All right. The con is over and I have the winers!!!

due to a lack of entries, the most origonal entry award was thrown out. And the best of show was changed to fan favorite.

Drama:
Mexican Junior - Soul Seek

Comedy:
Bashar of the Ages - I do ♥ Yuri

Action:
Jade-eyed-angel - Reaching for Stars

Best Technical:
Bashar of the Ages - I do ♥ Yuri

Staff Pick:
Mexican Junior - Queres Pescado?

Fan Favorite:
Bashar of the Ages - I do ♥ Yuri

I will be contacting the winners to setup shipping of the few awards we have to give.

~~~~~~~~~~~
As for Iron Editor. It was a good fight. Despite some small technical dificulties Sir Scribe was able to make the fight at least memorable. However, in the end, the Loveable Nat-chan came out on top! All of this, despite the fact that the judges felt the fact that I finished my video in only 1 hour was pompus and were rooting for Sir Scribe.
However, at the end of the competition my new title of Ohio's Iron Editor was challanged by none other the Sir Scribe himself. So, at Colossalcon in June there will be a rematch between Sir Scribe and myself. Since from the start I will be an editor, my stand in MC will take over my place of choosing series and footage.
As for Hentai Iron Editor. The fight did not go as well. The computer Sir Scribe was editing on had unexpected problems working with Premier and crashed over 16 times during the competition. Unfortunatly he was unable to even compile a short video because of it. Which left me as the winner by default.
Copies of each video, pictures of the events, and accounts of the events by the editors and more will be available at http://www.ngsilver.com/ironeditor/ within the next few weeks.
Thank you to everyone who participated in these events and everyone who came to watch.
