I remember that when I was making personal ratings from one to ten for the videos, I rated one of them a "WTF".

I bet that was either mine or one of my Russian friends' (to whom I recommended trying for the contest) :P

I'll just say "MAMA" and leave it at that.

(For what it's worth, the entire audience echoed my rating.)

Look, I've been busy, OK?

Anyway, the contest is now in the contest list.

Videos in contest:

Best of Me
Sakura's Love is a Battlefield (not listed)
Real fan of Kylie Minogue (not listed)
Caught in the Crossfire
Do You FEAR?

Action:
Otherworld
DGDI1&0
Valhalla Machine
Half-naked Cowgirls and Giant Robots: The Remake

Other:
EPYC <--- This the only video where I had to tell the audience when it was over, heh.
Nyctereutes procyonoides in psychedelic
The Curse of Saturn
RPBP: MAMA
The AMV Before Halloween

Comedy:

Oh yeah, there was also a rapid last-minute hack-job intro I made. It got a few laughs.

That sounds pretty reasonable to me. :P

So, like, did anybody in the audience look even remotely scared? >__>

Most of the audience was behind me. I couldn't say.

*sniff*

This was the best category in any contest that ever was, ever.

A lesson to contest runners: if you don't want this to happen again, avoid videos beta-tested by Oto at any cost. Please.

'grats again, people!

I honestly do hope that 'weirdness' categories get more popular in contests as we go along. I think they make a good creative departure into the Far Out, and deserve to have better exposure.

Best part of this list is nobody knows who made the non cataloged videos. 8-)
"The way I'm doing it I haven't seen anyone else do EVER. I'm spending so much time on this one and like I said, my formula is working out rather well. All of the series I'm using are just flowing into eatchother, and rather than representing a character from a series, their basically representing good or evil. I know this one will stand out from the rest. I'm confident it will. " - Sephirothskr

The two drama ones also ring a bell - I swear to god I've seen those somewhere before. Possibly also on contest lists.

Any clues?

I felt the same about those two, but I ran a search across the contest lists and came up empty. Vlad's "Love is a Battlefield" might be why the one sounds familiar.

I won't be cataloging my entry till 2006 or so.

I've already released enough crap this year. :P
