OMG I WAS F'ING ROBBED!

...oh wait I didn't enter or even attend AWA this year
(Milk and Cookies DOES NOT count Castor :P)

Anyway congrats to all the winners. I am glad to see a few vids win (esp. the Macross Zero video in Pro), but a little surprised to see the Kare Kano and Gainax video get shutout, but oh well.

Okay here is where I go wtf with Mckeed. That video is about a year old and hell he submited that to Ohayocon among other cons late last year and early this year.

Otherwise the list looks like a good bunch won. I am really glad to so the Macross Zero video in pro win something. It really is the type that has little chance at any fan voting contest.

But aw Kare Kano and the KOR vids got shut out. Those were incredible.
Dude its expo, anything goes in expo. quite a few videos that won had won elsewhere previously, there are no such rules against things like this for expo. Most creators usually just pick their best works that havn't been submitted to expo already and submit that each year.
Drat. I was wondering how well McKeed would like a rematch against Naru-85 after Ohayocon.

Wow, not bad for a tribute video! Congratulations to everyone! (Scurries off to actually put something in Pro this time!)

To paraphrase one Mr. Cool James, please refrain from referring to it as a revival, I've been lurking for ages.

While I am VERY greatful to have one the best comedy in pro award I am also rather baffeled.

I don't see why my video had to be censored and hence shown in the late night block. I can't find anything objectionable to it that would prevent it from being shown. It was shown during Iron chef with teh warning "Everyone under 18 shouldn't watch" and I was later told it could only be shown during the hentai AMV block. YET it was still shown during the Pro block on Sunday.

I mean no offense to AWA or its staff but I would like some clarifaction on this and some feedback from people who have either seen it or would download it to that regard. Anime Expo didn't have any quarrels showing my video and I've always considered them more touchy on the subject.

It could be the fact the song talks about masturbation. Seeing as how Saturday is the most popular day for the convention, that could mean that a lot of parents may be with their younger teenage children and may not want their children exposed to such things.

I just want to say that trying to edit while you hear "FOR PORN" blasting every 5 seconds is difficult at best :P
I have no idea how to use this new forum.
