You may want to fix his name.

I didn't even know Aluminum submitted anything this year...

(aside: OMG, all the phpBB buttons work right in Opera 8!!)

It isn't until I see all these entries listed together that I realize just how good of a year it was for Upbeat and Comedy... specifically, I really expected/hoped the polka, GIT-R-DONE, and the CB video would make the finals.

But what times will each tape be shown? The AMV overflow is divided up into a bunch of two-hour blocks, and two hours won't be enough to show all three tapes.

 That's like my favorite AMV trailer, ever.
I guess straight-up trailers are kind of lost in the Otakon categories, though...
I have no idea how to use this new forum.

There is a place for Trailers at Otakon, its just
not the AMV contest >< following the rules, trailers
fall under fan parody so they can't compete in the
contest. I'm glad to show them as non compete in the
over flow screenings or for another venue at Otakon,
Matt Pyson is in charge of Fan parodies so send all your
trailers over his way^^

Yup, I did ask for it to be non-competing. And I totally forgot to send out a CD with the mpeg2 to Matt... :(
At the time, he didn't have any broadband to download the file directly from my site.
Anyway... If possible, can you send it his way at the con Antonio? Just so he has another video to show for the Fan-Produced Videos line-up.

I don't think it's that long gene. I never timed it but is didn't seem that long I don't think.....

BTW, sorry for the self promotion/whatever but I'm going to be looking for AMV Panelists for Nekocon over the weekend. If there is anyone that already knows they might be interested make it a point to see me some time over the weekend. I'll typically be around the AMV and Fan Parody stuff going on this weekend (except Otakon's AMV panel which I never seem to make it too).

It's possible he could fit it in somewhere, but be advised that Matt has already sent out the final schedule for fan parodies (right down to each individual trailer).

And "The Prescott Affair" was on it. :)
