Question about Contests

OK. I'm new to the forum, but not new to Anime Music Video Creation or to the site itself. I would have been to the forum a long time ago, if only I haven't had those strange login problems... but thats another story.

My question is: As I see, there are many AMV members from germany, or other countries in Europe (or elsewhere). But AFAIK most AMV Contests are held in the USA. So do you guys travel to the States just to show your video at the Show, or how does it go?
I'd love to participate at some contests, but I don't know if I have to travel large distances (which, besides I can't afford

) or if there is some way to reach in those Videos over the internet...

Speaking of travelling. Machine, the AWA doco is probably going to be the turning point in my travel plans for next year. Do a good job (well you don't have to but...).

But then again who knows...after teh footage I have....the org may either praise the awa doc and want to go.....or creators will hate me again >_<

Huh, I thought there is another way than flying to the States to contribute in a contest...

Thanks for the answers, but as a student I have absolutely no way of getting a trip to America. Sad but true.
