Obviously you don't understand compression if you're limiting entry sizes to 100mb. If people make the file smaller than 100MB, then you'll have lots of trouble converting it into a format suitable for the contest.
I limited e-mail submissions to 100mb, not snail mail submissions.
All snail mail submiters should contact me by e-mail to find out the address and contact information.
In addition, *nobody* emails huge files. I don't think I've ever emailed something larger than an mp3, and that was YEARS ago.
As you said, that was years ago. My proffessors now ROUTINELY e-mail me whole programming projects. And since I am dealing with graphics and games, these projects can be up to 500mb in total uncompressed size. Also, my servers HAVE crashed in the past year due to overload of files, OR they have missed out on e-mails and files due to being filled. I'm playing it safe. Would you rather your submission was lost in cyberspace?
I have never attended Otakon (living as I do in California and not seeing there reason b/c we have so many great cons here) but this IS our first year. If you want to help out, volunteer. If you want to critisize, fine. But at least have the decency to offer constructive critisize of our practices. Unlike Anime-Expo, we are small enough that we should be able to cater to specific interests. But you still have to ask!A contest run more incompetently than Otakon, who would have imagined...
Thank you again.

P.S. BTW your video is only 28.2 MiB. We don't have a small room, but its not HUGE like the one at Anime-Expo, so we don't need super-hiquality video's! I'm gonna test it out soon, and we'll see what we need.
