Okay...I just want to say that you are not a pimp...

...unless you complete the "Pimpin" mission to Level 10 in "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas".

We now return you to your battletoads.

I'll try to have something ready by then. I'm working on two videos at the moment, but neither is as fan-friendly as my previous Sakura-con video and if anything, the total opposite. I like 'em, but not sure if they're "con-friendly." Maybe even on the gore/violence level

I take it prizes are the same? Prizes aren't *that* big of a deal, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't think the Sakura-con Best of Show prize wasn't cool. I still occassionally look at the cool little movie clicker signed by all the guests ;).

Ego... 8-)

I don't think the clapboard is only for Best of Show. I have one for a tech award from a few years back. But they may have changed things since then.

I agree it's a cool thing to get. Especially if a famous Japanese director signed and drew a little sketch (!).

For those who don't know what a clapboard looks like (and a hint for the Sakura-Con contest organizer :) ): http://www.greatbigstuff.com/clapboard.html. The actual prizes are much smaller, of course.

Well mine was for Best of Show, but if they give them for other awards too, that's certainly encouraging since I can't see myself pulling off that fluke again :P.

And yeah, I got some nice little sketches from some Japanese Directors I respect (Child's Toy and NTHT) as well as a drawing from Gabe of the Penny Arcade.

We changed arround the prizes a bit

the Awards for Best of Show, Most Artstic and Technical are (if aproved) going to be glass tropheys

the Awards for the Best in each Category the Signed Synch Slates
(I wanted those for all prizes with the tropheys also for the best of, but we had to negotiate budget and this is what I was able to do)
