No, but if you're gonna enter Masters they 'strongly recommend', as AD's told me, that you attend the con...

Nope. You gotta send us something to copy the entries onto, but you'll be getting those back.

My source comes in 10 days before the expo deadline..... and it'll take 3-4 days to send by mail...

I better work on the parts I do have already on dvd then just leave that part of the source blank :P

I have a question
If we enter the Exposition do we have to send in the tapes/cd/or dvds or is that just for the Professional contest?

That's just for Pro.

(you'd have to send in a hell of a lot of tapes for all the expo entries :P)

MCWagner wrote:Well, if it's not an official con function, then it's not a "convention contest." To be honest, I've been pretty far outta the loop until now and I wasn't even aware that there was a distinction. Somebody gimmie the details and I'll make an official decision.

*Sigh*

Though making individual decisions is precisely what I was trying to avoid doing...

I was just curious for the Iron Chef thing, I won other contests so if you can't decide it's no big deal.

But the specifics were it was at Techwood con 2004, it was the opening year. Run by Mr. Pilkington, it had an "official slot" in the contest. In fact, we were running late on it. -_-' It wasn't sponsored by anyone other than ourselves(Me, AMV_4000, mr pilkington) since it was the con's first year, and was located on college campus grounds...

We had to bring our own computers, compile our own footage(Or.. Pilk did) and there was no prize..(Aside from Pilk's light suggestion of "I'll try to get the winner a match with Hsien sometime"... Which I doubt will happen. I'd probably die of anxiety 0_0)

So the Iron Chef thing in itself is in the whole "official" gray area...

Not a problem. Since Quu has such "tunnel vision" sometimes, I have to field more "customer service" type questions and stuff. And thankfully we have friends like TJ and others who point out various things that need to be addressed. We're so busy that we don't have time to keep up with the forums.

Now I'm off to go finish cooking pancakes for our 7/4 party.
