While I'm not against this contest in any way, I would like to say that almost any real amv contest at major conventions are open to ANYBODY, noobs and "pros" alike.

Castor,
You know I respect you and I respect your intentions. I appreciate your opinion and I thank you for your comments.
To anyone else, it was never my intent to make people angry with this contest. What's the saying, "the road to hell is paved with good intentions?" That was the intention here. We wanted to create something good, not bitter or mean spirited.
This idea is not mine alone. It came from four other people because we all thought that it would be nice to have a tourny specifically designed for New AMV Creators. I agree with you that no other contest restricts one person from entering and perhaps, I myself made a mistake when I wrote down the definition of pro. So you know what we what we did. We revised the rules on
www.jpproductoinsonline.cjb.net so that it was clearer what the entry requirements would be.
I did not mean to offend or hurt anyone's feelings when I said "no pro's need not apply." I may have offended some people and for that I am sorry. I am not a mean spirited person and I myself have been a tad rough to others earlier to day. To those people I apologize.
Tempers flare easy when there is a controversy but in my opinon, I would rather like to fix what is wrong then fight and argue and place blame. Please note that anyone who wants to enter this tourny it is designed specifically for new amv makers. Requirements have been changed so that there is a better understanding of who will be allowed into the contest.
Myself and the other people involved in this contest only wanted to do a good thing and nothing bad.
I apologize for any wrongful comments I may have said earlier and I have taken your suggestions to heart.
I'm not a person who is so rigid that I do not look at all sides of an issue. I discussed this issue with other people involved in the contest and we think the simpler the solutions the better the outcome.
Please check
