Otakon Alternative Betting Pool...

Postby iserlohn » Tue May 11, 2004 2:46 pm

Geoff told me to post this one (I've got the AIM log to prove it), and there's no prize this time, I think he's just trying to make a point...

"How many well known creators messed up their Otakon 2004 Submission Forms?"

Geoff will be posting the official answer soon.

Actually could you define what the fuck "well known creators" is supposed to mean? Everyone is well know in someway, and noone is well known in otherways.

Damned if I know. I just posted what I was told to post, using the phrasing I was given.

a lot?

I know a bunch of people have messed up their submissions. Seriously.. if you can't read the instructions and make an effort to understand them.. then my opinion is you don't deserve to win the award or compete in the contest. ..but that's just my obnoxius opinion on the subject.

on a side note.. I don't think I can spell. =)

What was there to mess up?

I guess I shouldn't say anything since I bet I'm one of them >_>.

I second that. Also I bet I probably jacked up something besides forgeting the one second of black screen footage which I re-sent out with a note saying why there is a second copy.

19 well known creators, 133 others.

...I'm pretty certain I sent in my submission correctly, and also pretty certain, I fucked up my upload to Quu's server terribly. :(

"(For groups, add additional "Signature" lines as necessary.)"

I saw two signature lines. I signed the first, because the text implied that the second was for a second person, and that additional lines would simply be needed to added if more than 2 people were to sign.

And it's very unprofessional to be mocking people for simple mistakes in a public forum.

Remember, people blamed the Florida absentee ballot when people used it improperly, not the people who filled it out. We could do likewise.
