I don't think wmm is low quality. Not as long as you can suplement it the way you would any other editor.

I forgot to give links to my vids:

Also, I'm not sure how I could prove it - vdub just has the bar at teh bottom. I could easily take screenshots of the gimp files (I have the layers and saved them as variable transparency) any suggestions? cause I doubt they'll be a "Virtualdub & lower" contest

Sorry, it's just WMM only. I don't want to have to deal with a million other free progs and WMM is the the most well known (at least to me) of the free progs.

And removing subs is ok.... but why are you using that footage in the first place? :P

Unless it's a hard subbed Viz video dvd...

No, an ADV dvd with no English dub option...which I'll probably do an AMV to one of these days....it's just that I'm one of the Premiere-deprived, WMM-saddled crowd... :(

I don't have XP so I can't install WMM.

WinME comes with WMM v1.0. It's version 2 that needs XP.

I am aware of that, I just don't class Windows ME as an operating system.

Had to chuckle when I read that. It's a good way to close this day. :)

I have four old PCs with completely different hardware all running WinME, and they're as stable as anything I've ever used. My newest PC has WinXP/SP1. It won't run more than about two hours without a classic blue-screen crash...except the time it blue-screened three consecutive power-ons. :x

Anywaaay, that's off this topic. I'm going to look at WMM2; seems easy enough. Just finished a video today and this contest looks interesting for my next project. At least it's something different.

Added some new rules to the Page.

Maximum of 2 entries per person/group.

When 10 people have sent entries, I will decide a deadline.

This is to make sure 5 people in the same amv group don't send 2 videos each hitting the old 10 video amount.

I'll be setting that up soon.

You can view your competition all you want because the judges won't know yet. :)
