I've heard the song once, maybe twice, maybe even three times! I can't remember a whole lot about it, but my brother has the CD, so I'm going to borrow that and start.

I may seem like I'm starting late, but the joke's on you. I have no life. My devotion to this project shall be matched by none! None, I tell you! Bwa ha ha!

Also, I think I have a damn good idea. Any more than that I shall not divulge. I shall only say this- I hope I got enough footage.

Hi Gene Starwind 21122 here and I tell you this when I go ahead and do something I go all the way with it. "Go Big or Not at all." That's what I always say. Nearly half way finished now and I should be finishing up the last half within a week.

The Fallen Phoenix can talk in third person.

And one multi-hour jam session later, He hath completed 51 seconds. Also, He intends to get back to work after he is done on the forums (this is just a short break for him). He shall finish early, thus have time to go back and destroy and rebuild, and destroy and rebuild, and make better. Be warned.

So, how's everyone else's progress?

Another 4 hours spent on the video another 50 seconds done. Damn this is taking me forever. But I think I have somewhat of an idea what Sierra Lorna, Vic Bond 007, Koop goes through now when editing videos. Eventhough my vid probably doesn't have as much as their's yet, but this video has required the most editing I have ever done before.

Time Done 3:09
Time to Go 2:42

Almost there. I'll work on it some tommorow morning and then more on Monday.

Just spent another 3 hours on the video and now have 3:38 done only another 2:13 to go. I have to say the video I'm creating now is very uncharacteristic of what I have done in the past. Slayerwolf I think back in Akane's Heart you said "Now you just have to put that together with everything else you've learned. You've got the necessary vision and skills but they're just not coming together for some reason. " I think that time has happend with this video. I think I finally broke through and found what I have to do. I'm impressed with what I have done myself I can actually see the difference between this video and the other videos in the past.

Gah. What a nightmare. For this project I've been trying a new method of capture, via the guide that everbody else but me seems to use, the one on this site, but everytime I turn around I run into some problem, or something I don't understand. It took me hours just to get to the point where I could begin work on my project, and now that I've got 1:41 worth of footage to export, it WILL NOT do it. I've tried over 10 different times with all sorts of various settings, and Premiere chokes and dies every time. Never before this method have ANY of my family's 16+ videos had any sort of problem like this. And the biggest disappointment is, that I'm not impressed with what little I've managed to export thusfar. So, I'm going to have to restart the project via the method we've all used thus far. All this means to the project, though, is a loss in time and inspiration. It's not a spirit-lifting experience to have hours of work flushed. :(

At this point, I'm pretty sure I can still finish on time, but that extra time I wanted to work out all the flaws is looking like it shall be next to nill. Oh well, I guess. I'll keep you updated.

That's , ok :)
I use the Flasking method myself

DvdRipper ---> Vob
Flask ----> Turns Vob to Small Huffy clips
Premiere ---> Huffy Clips to premiere
Mix with music and serve :)
