Overall the contest was great. There were tons of great entries and it must've been hard to pick the winners. However I'm now very tired and have to wake up at 9 tomorrow morning so I'm off to bed ^_^

One thing that Fungie didn't mention: there were also some Judges' Awards (with the winners receiving certificates). Along with Adinokyi and Let This Be the End of EVA, the following videos received Judges Awards:

Gummi Tanuki
My United States of Whatever
It's Tricky to be a Troll
Dueling Videos: Under Ice

Wow. Congratulations to all the winners. Were the Judges' Awards awarded by the individual judges, and if so, which judge gave theirs to mine (Gummi Tanuki)? I'm kind of curious.

By the way, was my video actually credited to "Honey Productions"? I think somebody was a bit free with the spellchecker.

Both my vids made it in. Didn't win anything, but I don't care. The important thing is, My vids were seen and thats all that matters. Wish I was there to see the reactions of the crowd.

The Judges' Awards were awards given out by the individual judges of the AMV contest (kinda like the Judges' Awards at most Cosplay contests and the VAT Panelists/Staff Awards at AWA). As for who gave out the Gummi Tanuki one, I'm sorry, but I didn't keep track of the names of the judges(hopefully, either someone else who attended the convention remembered or the list of Judges' Awards winners will be listed on the Katsucon site).

To be honest, of all the events at the con, I enjoyed seeing the music vid awards most.

I must say, I agreed with the results. I think, while all of the entrants were great, the winners really earned the prizes. I'm off to see if I can download some of them. Good job, guys.

Hey, I hope I'm not being tacky by popping in here, but I'd like to thank everyone who voted for C&C Productions' "Let This Be The End of Evangelion". It was our first AMV (ever!) and we were just glad that it got shown... we were both blown away by the response it got
(though my vidding partner wasn't able to make it to Katsucon, I'm glad I was able to be there to hear the audience's reactions).

Congratulations to all the other winners as well! I know that I, for one, am glad to have the DVDs of all the finalists (I think that was the best prize ;) )

This is amazing.... and I didn't even make the final cut! The big guns didn't win this time... surprising considering how well VicBond007 and Hsien Lee did last year. I'm also surprised that VicBond didn't enter "Die Another Day" or "Charcoal Sketched Dreams" in the contest either.

Congratulations to the winners, and best of luck in the coming year for everybody in the upcoming AMV contests.

Not everyone trolls their videos. Some people just make fun of it like "Its tricky to be a troll." *cough* Bogosort *cough* As a general rule if something of mine wins anywhere I stop submitting it to cons. Except AWA, but that is the one exception.

Luckily both of my AMVs made it in, but they didn't win. But then again they were my first ones. I guess that's actually a really good thing.

Well OF COURSE Brotherly Love didn't win because NOBODY likes Yugioh

My video made it in as well, but once again did not win. That's fine though, I'm happy to just get the exposure. I've seen several more downloads, as well as an increased star rating.

Sadly, it seems my next video won't be ready for Tekkoshocon, so I'll be submitting the same video again there (gotta have a video in my hometown for once).
