It's like Shroedinger's AMV Contest. We don't know the finalists until we count them up.

I'm the one doing the counting and even I don't know.

Plus, the contest master tape has to be mastered before I can be 100% safe telling anyone that they got in. It'd suck if I told someone that they got in and then it turned out that they didn't for some last-minute reason....

Yeah, definitely. For me, the time between now and when finalists are released is gonna be more nail-biting than the actual contest if I make finals. I think I have a chance of getting into the finals- but I pretty much know I'm getting beat if I do, so there won't be anything to worry about if I actually make it- I can just sit back and relax. 8)

Especially since I know there were m4d amounts of excellent vids in the two categories my video could get put into...

That's just off hte top of my head mind you. So don't be discuraged so quickly. I have almost 200 videos floting around up there from almost 3 weeks ago. I only specifily remember certain things immediatly.

Had I taken a copy of the ballots like I should have I would have a nice list to work with and couls tell you if I saw it or not for shore.
