Ah Afest, the first convention I had ever attended... 20 years ago. Afest 1998. I should maybe submit something. It's still in September, right?

Actually, we're running from August 17-20th. We found that shifting our dates to before the first day of class meant that more people were able to make the convention. Either way, though, I look forward to your submission!

I get asked this question frequently, so I'm putting the answer here as well. We accept AMVs that use video game footage, or American animation footage.

I've finally gotten the finalists list together! These are the AMV editors who are the finalists in the contests - I hope to have the specific AMVs listed before the convention starts on Wednesday.
