UPDATE 08/17/15: Less than a week to go! Submissions are due no later than 11:59pm CST Friday, August 21, 2015.
Thank you to everyone who has entered so far! A few updates for you:
- We received enough submissions to put the "one entry per editor" rule into effect.
- We also received enough submissions that it would be impossible to fit them all into the contest and its time slot, so there will be a preliminary round of judging to determine which entries will compete in which categories.
- For most of the AMVs that are not put into the competition, there will be a special AMV showcase overflow screening.
- All editors will receive e-mail notifications as soon as possible after the prelims as to the status of their entry or entries.
Thanks again to everyone! I can tell you right now that even just the prelims are going to be incredibly difficult to judge, not to mention the contest itself! Y'all are amazing.

Anime World Expos is back in Chicago, August 28-30, 2015!
(Actually we're in Lombard, one of the suburbs, which is tons better because FREE PARKING and LESS CHICAGO TRAFFIC.)

Depending on the volume of submissions, we'll be accepting up to two entries per editor, provided they are different categories and at least one is comedy/dance/fun or otherwise upbeat.
