What had me confuzzled was how this was all happening over several months, starting a few days ago, as oppose to just one day. So I wasn't sure when the premieres were in the first place. I was looking at Akross as a convention and not a website. First timer here :/

DATES AND DEADLINES

The contest consists of five major stages:

1. Registration period (October, 20 - December, 15) - time for the participants to register at the contest.
2. Creation period (October, 20 - December, 20) - time to create the video for the contest.
3. Screening period (December, 25 - December, 30) - qualifications for the finals.
4. Display period (November, 15 - January, 15) - time for demonstration of the vids.
5. Voting period (January, 20 - January, 25) - at this time all the votings are held, the winners in all nominations are selected and the best video is determined.

Attention Participants! Key dates of final stages of the contest has been adjusted:

Registration deadline - January, 10.
Deadline for entering video's info in "Participant's Panel" - January, 15 (those who will not enter the information will be removed from the list of participants).
Deadline for uploading - January, 20 (all videos that have missed the deadline, will be assigned to "B" group automatically).
Finalists announcement - January, 30 (all videos that have not passed technical checks by January 25 (regardless of the reason), will be assigned to "B" group automatically).
Viewers Vote for additional finalists - February, 5-8.
Finalists Vote - February, 10-13.
"Viewers' Choice" Vote - February, 13-15.
Winners announcement - February, 15.

does anyone know how i can upload a video on akross.ru , iam a video editor and when i tried to upload my amv on the site i couldn't find anything related to uploading videos plz help

It's simple dude: Complete all the forms, wait until the form is approved, once you have the video completed with the akross logo, you'll complete the final form and then upload. If the video is more than 64 Mbs, you'll upload through FTP. If not, just use the upload bar and that's all

This is so true, lmfao. It's a week long process apparently, that's if you fill out everything as soon as you can.
