It's over, it's done, all of Season 2 is in the bag! It's been a hell of a ride, but only one video can come out on top! Here's the results for this year's AMV League National Championships! Super congratulations to all the finalists - these are 27 of the best AMVs we've ever seen, and ranking them took Kidd and I about FOUR HOURS of deliberation, plus maybe a couple of threats of divorce here and there. ^_^;;;;;

@Pathos Prime I requested score for a video entry submitted by me in San Japan to Kidd - Public Relations Director. It's been more than a week, no reply.

Oh! I Understand... I just needed acknowledgement about the mail. and Yes, I received 'em :) Thanks a Lot. Those were pretty Good scores I guess. I realized a lot on reading the scores and comments, Thanks again.

I wanted to request You to let the Judges know that the 3rd AMV mentioned in email isn't mine. It's kind of... You know, I don't want 'em to get the wrong idea about my Work. I don't make that kind of adult AMVs. I Hope You Understand what I mean. Someone is just faking or it's just a coincidence having submitted under same name.

Yeah, sorry about that - we went back and, yeah, that video was submitted by someone else. Not sure why we had that one listed as by you. ^_^;;

Re: AMV League - 2 WEEKS LEFT TO SUBMIT TO TSUBASACON, 3 NEW EVENTS ANNOUNCED

Post by Pathos Prime » Fri Sep 09, 2016 3:43 pm

So one of the things we often get asked at AMV League is to announce events as far in advance as possible. Since we only allow a submission once, a bit of strategy is required - do you submit your video to a small con, hoping the competition is less fierce? Or to a big con, hoping to cream the competition and earn more prestige? (Hint - spread the love around a bit. ^_^ There are TONS of videos we had at San Japan that would have TROUNCED some of the entries we got at other events)

So in order to help people plan their submissions, we're gonna do what we can to help. :) Anime cons are a finicky thing and aren't always PLANNED far in advance, and some don't want us to announce anything until contracts have been signed, but there are a few 'safe bets' we've gotten permission to announce a LONG time in advance.

AMV League is proud to announce that we will be returning to Anime North Texas in Fort Worth this November, Anime Con Arkansas in Little Rock next April, and Anime Blues Con in Memphis next July! We've got Season 3 Submission forms up and ready for all three of these, and we look forward so seeing what y'all come up with over the next year. :D
