Re: Youmacon 2014 Video/Audio Track Competition
It was a very close battle for the finalists. The average score across all of our judges was 61.8, that also happened to be the target score to make the finals.
Keep in mind, making the finals does not guarantee winning an award, though not making finals does not guarantee you will not win an award. For anyone who didn't make finals you are welcome to request viewing of your entry during any of our free play blocks, even if you are not attending the convention. You can hop onto our livestream and request your entries to be shown, as well as any other video. We will take requests via the livestream chat as well as in-person.
I will be sending out confirmations to all of our entrants checking if you will be at the con. All our entrants get prime seating at our award ceremony. We will also be streaming all weekend, including our audience reaction stream. I will be posting the links to these as we get closer to the con. Also, if you wish to follow around via twitter we will be tweeting the awards out as well. Follow @VATatYouma for these updates.

That's what happens when we get video titles that the forum text formatting can't understand. I've updated it using the safe version of the title.PieandBeer wrote:"(?°?°)?? s??? p???????" is my favorite title for anything ever. there's just so much suspense.

Youma X - VAT X - Schedule and Streaming
Alright everyone. With the con less then a week away I figured now was a good time to remind all of ya'll about the streaming options available from Youmacon and give ya'll a heads up on our schedule. First, streaming. We will again run 2 streams this year. 1 stream will be the main stream, basically what the audience will see at con. The other stream will be a crowd reaction stream, basically a view of the room from our stage where you can see how the crowd reacts to your videos and hopefully hear some of it as well. Links to both of these streams are below. Keep in mind, these streams will only run during our all ages events.
Main Showing Stream: http://www.livestream.com/thisweekinamvs (staff will only be paying attention to this channel for chat)
Crowd Reaction Stream: http://www.livestream.com/youmavatroom
We've got a good lineup of stuff read for this year. We will do our best to also allow each segment to be viewed post con up on our livestream channel as well. So you can tune in later if you missed something. Re: Youmacon 2014 Video/Audio Track Competition
Can you play something of mine during the free play? I don't care what it is or if it's at 4:00 in the morning, I just want to know that something I made graced a real screen for like the 2nd time ever.

Re: Youmacon 2014 Video/Audio Track Competition
Seasons, or anyone, just hop into the livestream chat during any freeplay block and request a specific video by you. Listing video title and editor helps them locate (I try to make sure all videos in our archive have at least that much info) and if you've announced your videos in the past 10ish years then I most likely have a copy! Or, if you'd like to make sure I have a copy of something, PM me the vidid's and I'll download them when I have a chance.
BTW, I'm about to break my systems down now. I will not be completely radio silent, but it may take some time to get back to anyone from this point forward until I can get my system back up and running at con. We begin setting up the VAT tomorrow!
