I, for one, am beyond thankful for the extension.
Without it, my entry would have had to rush to a finish and would have suffered some.
I also wouldn't have acquired the video source I needed to top it all off.

Without the deadline extension, I would have missed the other deadline for another contest. (I'm kinda in between projects at the moment, different hobby)
