I'd like to thank Tsu for bringing some very important points to my attention.

one of the trailers that I'm sending your way is exactly 3:30 LOL. Since that category is unlimited, I might also make 2 more to send in
Tsu! wrote:I actually referred to a certain trailer of yours as one of my key points regarding the time limit. No doubt the same 3:30 one of which you speak.

Actually, it was more a matter of your message prompting me to do a bit more research, and I discovered that the MPAA's limit isn't rigidly 2min 30sec. Studios are sometimes granted a waiver to exceed that restriction for up to one film a year (usually a studio's blockbuster of the year)? That made me realize I was limiting things way too much.

For example not all of us want our videos uploaded on channels like Bestamvsofalltime and so on cause it will not help us with anything. People will watch the video and only 10% of that people will get back to you on your channel for exp lolligerjoj1. "Poor guy" he should have right now at least 10.000 subs like nostro or smth, you get the point. Can we have cash like san japan and so on ?

We tried cash prizes back in 2011, and rather insane amounts too. It created an epic storm of controversy. Go hunt the Avatar Expo 2011 Avatar Music Video thread on here if you want more details, but bottom line, cash prizes won't ever be happening again, amen, period.
At best I'd consider small denominational Amazon gift cards maybe, and those would be for a lower tier of awards (Best Retro Entry, Best California Local Entry, Best WTF Entry, etc) of which I do not presently award yet (but am considering for a future year)?
