Also, thanks to everyone who has submitted so far. For those who have provided videos but with no response yet, I do plan on getting your videos reviewed within the next 2-3 days. Remember that, if you put in a submission request, you will have until end of the day on Wednesday, March 5th to have it uploaded (or a link provided).

FTP accounts will be generated over the next few days, with e-mail and Contest Website updates for those that have sent files. Remember, we will keep all FTP accounts open until Midnight EST on Wednesday, March 5th. That is the absolute deadline -- after that, if it's not in our proverbial hands, we can't accept it as the judges will be given the final list.

I will also send out some updates by e-mail over the next few days to contestants. Finalists that will be shown in the Main Contest will be posted before the convention.

Just a reminder to those who still have not uploaded files, the FTP server closes all open accounts at 11:59pm (EST) tonight! So, if you have your videos ready, you should get them uploaded right away!

If you uploaded a video, but did not close out the account, no worries -- I should get it when the FTP server closes. You should still double-check that it's been uploaded. If you have any questions, don't wait -- please let me know right away!

All confirmation e-mails have been sent out and statuses have been updated in ngsilver's contest database. Entrants whose video status is "Video Checked" are encouraged to check the database one week before the convention to see if their entries made finals. Just as a reminder, once finalists have been determined:

- If your entry says "Video Accepted", then it is a finalist in the main contest, or has been accepted for the Extreme contest where noted.
- If your entry says "Accepted for Overflow", then the video has not be picked as a finalist, but will be shown at least once during the convention.

For those planning to attend the convention, please keep an eye on the Tekko website (tekko.us) for the schedule of AMV events at the convention this year.

We are still getting last-minute fixes done, so statistics for the contest will follow soon.

You really shouldn't use dates as reference markers (i.e. "a week before the con") and fail to spell out when the reference dates actually are.

March 27th is a week before the con, if I'm not mistaken.
