Tekko 2014 AMV Contest - Closed for Submissions

Tekko (formerly Tekkoshocon) is now accepting entries for its AMV contest! The deadline for creating a video submission profile for the contest is March 2nd, with an absolute FTP deadline of March 5th.

Just a note, for those of you planning to submit snail-mail and haven't used the system before, there is a link to print the mail-in form for each video in the entry status page. That will inform you of the address to ship your entries to as well as being a form you should include with your mail'ed entries for easy tracking.

Tekko held an art contest recently to figure out what the artistic theme of the convention will be this year, and our contest's Theme category usually matches whatever they choose.

We now have the Theme category for this year's Tekko (and contest):

Steampunk!

So, if you have any Steampunk entries from the past 2 years and they haven't been entered into Tekko's (or Sangawa's & KuroKiiro's) contest before, send them our way for consideration! If we get enough entries for it, we'll do a Steampunk category!

*Announcement*
The FTP server will be going down for maintenance this week. I have been needing to do some hardware upgrades (added disk space, new case, ect) and some software upgrades (OS Updates) and will be bringing the FTP server down for this. The maintenance should only last a few days, through the weekend at most. I will make an announcement when the FTP server is back up.

In the meantime the entry system will continue to work and FTP requests will continue to be be received. However no new accounts will be created and current open accounts will not be able to upload during this time.

Any questions or concerns with this, please let me know.

FTP server is back online. And I must say, it looks so much better in it's new case with the new hardware. Took some time getting the OS to cooperate but we're all good.

If anyone has been waiting the weekend to upload their videos, you should be fine to go ahead and do so now. Please let me know if you run into any issues.

Happy Groundhog Day! There may be 6 more weeks of winter, but only 4 weeks left to submit videos!
