It's worth mentioning that there were a surprising (or perhaps unsurprising given its popularity?) amount of Shingeki no Kyojin videos, despite maybe 7 episodes being out before the deadline. I was fairly surprised, anyway.

There were a handful, for sure. The first one I saw was actually the best of the bunch.

Which category is the most competitive this year? Is it Drama or Action?

Kinda glad I didn't do an action video this year.... But it was just as competitive as the last couple years. It was neat to see Attack on Titan show up already as AMV fodder given its recent debut....

How about Upbeat? I know it was kinda dead last year, being only four videos.

Thought maybe I could spruce it up a little more this year, but I think I strayed a little into Humorous near the end.

I think the most videos we enjoyed this year were in Upbeat. You will be pleased at whoever makes the cut for that category!

I would say upbeat was the strongest. I consistently gave higher scores there.
