Keep in mind last year Zenkaikon didn't even have AMV programming due to circumstances I'm not at liberty to discuss...so this is a "rebuilding" year for us.
I don't know what kind of turnout Z'kon had in 2011 but we're working on bringing this contest back to prominence.
This will be an entertaining show regardless so I hope to see any of you there.

After not having an AMV programming track last year, Zenkaikon was very appreciative of having a contest and other events dedicated to this fan art again.
Closing Ceremonies had a full room Sunday afternoon during the replay of the AMV Award Show.
Thanks to everyone who entered nd especially you who made the finals and returned AMV glory to Zenkaikon!

I'm still surprised that my action video has done as well as it has. So to feed my curiosity are we getting pics of the prizes to see what they look like? Or will I have to wait the 4-6 weeks like the site says

Actually, I have a bit of the crowd reaction from Sunday but the "singalong" moment happened as the viewers were leaving Main Events after the screening.

You may not have to wait that long.
I just have to forward the mailing info to the treasury who will handle everything.
And don't worry.
Z'kon is a very well-run event so I imagine this will be no deviation from that.
