Now it only makes me feel worse that I can't make it this year. ;_;

Also, why do I have to be so busy? I want to punch more videos in the face and get them done rather then just having 2 to my name.

Any word on what times the contest will be Katsucon weekend? The schedule was posted today, and while the time for the results show was listed, there was no information concerning times for the contest itself.

Here's the schedule...

FRIDAY
5:30pm in Video Premieres

SATURDAY
12:30pm in Video 2

I was told the schedule is now fixed.

If you're attending, make your way to the front of the line if you want front row seating.

First off: hell yeah, this is going to be a lot of fun. Looking forward to this convention, and this contest, a lot.

Second, though: Fsck, did we have to schedule the AMV contest at the exact same time as the formal ball? We're going to lose a lot of people that way, and I want to attend the ball AND see how people react to the contest!

I wish I had more control over how they schedule these things.
The Friday contest won't lose as many to the formal as you think.
There are a lot of people who don't have anything formal to wear, can't or don't want to dance, or would rather watch AMVs anyway.
The Saturday showing is still there, though.
We're expecting a full room but remember that entrants get preferred seating.
Just head to the front of the line and look for a guy in orange wearing a white mustache and a funny hat.
