I got a quick question though. Would it be possible to forward an entry, say, to Troy for review before submission to gush our chances a bit? He probably won't know how many videos he would receive by the deadline but I'd at least like to throw my chances.

Just for the sake of clarification, I'm interpreting your question to mean that you'd like to have your video reviewed for the purposes of determining your chances of making it to the finals.

No. That is something I, as coordinator, must not do. Under no circumstances can I do anything that would even hint at giving someone an advantage or showing favoritism, and that would risk doing so.

I will say, however, that you should have confidence in your work. Why wouldn't you send it in? Submit your video. What have you got to lose?

To be more specific, I'd push it more as a review but I get the idea. Guess it didn't hurt to ask.
I guess for me the contest is an off and on thing for me cause I lose a bit of confidence not getting in but I know I should put more time into my videos. Though, like everyone else, I tell myself to start a video early and then I don't get to it 4 months before the deadline.
