A-Kon 23: AMV Contest Accepting Submissions

Alright you AMV editors. It's time to play the game again. A-Kon's Video Contest & Special Events homepage is updated to reflect 2012 and we are ready to accept AMV submissions.

Submission Deadline: Monday, April 30th 2012

This means we must have your AMV submission information in our database by April 30th. No exceptions. However, you will be allowed extra time to "upload" your video to us, if you need it beyond the submission deadline. Perhaps no more than a week (or two).

The rules have remained the same and can be found under each Contest menu, but for this year, we have brought back the Short Films category to play under the miniVent block. Short films are going to be restricted, by event, to their maximum time slot (i.e. Standard contest is limited to 7 minutes). So if you got a short story to tell, film it and we'll screen it at the con.
