•Quality: Cinematographic aspect of the AMV: music selection versus clips, presence of a narrated storyline, video consistency (40%)
•Creativity: AMV’s originality: unique concept, special use of specific elements, etc. This iswhat makes the AMV unique (20%)
Awards
Best of Show: to the editor scored the highest by the judges.
Public Award: to the public’s favorite at the showing.
Gamine Award: best AMV submitted for the Gamine Challenge.
Some category awards will also be granted.
The Gamine Challenge
In 2012, our mascot Gamine wants to celebrate G-AMV’s fourth year. She thus invites you to display your editing talents in another field than japanimation. She would like you to create an AMV with clips from the series Kaamelott. Who will be brave enough to attempt that?

Re: G-AMV 2012
By the way, deadline is december 25! If someone could edit the org calendar, I would be gratefull. Like every year, there will be a live broadcast of the contest,
The convention starts december 27 to 29.

Re: G-AMV 2012
Uploads start but never finish, instead I get a hideous red box that says, "Upload failed An error occurred."

Re: G-AMV 2012
@Warlike Swans, if you still have problem, feel free to fill in the form at http://7bit.in/e and put a web address were I can download the file (web locker or something else).
The upload form doesn't work in older browser since it uses HTML5* and not flash, It will work in a recent version of Firefox and webkit browser (Chrome/Safari).
*Actually, it's javascript. The XMLHttpRequest doesn't exist in all browsers.
