The Anime Milwaukee AMV Contest train has pulled into the station, and we are now boarding all rows for you crazy landlubbers.
All silliness aside, this is the 5th annual AMKE AMV Contest (have I really been doing this for 5 years?)
As always, the information can be found here on our site, and you can click me to go to the contest form (if you already know how we roll).
There are no planned changes to the rules for this year.
I'll also be experimenting with audience voting this year. If my audience voting experiment works, there will also be awards for audience's choice in each category and best of show. Certificates will not be printed for audience's choice awards this year.
My budget got shafted, and I'm afraid I don't have enough time to properly finish my audience voting experiment.

For those unfamiliar with how I run the contest...
- I aim to show all the entries in several locations for the entire weekend.
- Whether I can actually do that or not depends on the budget I'm given and/or if there's extra A/V equipment.
- Finalists are screened on Friday evening and again on Sunday afternoon.
- If, for one reason or another, my mobile AMV kiosks look unlikely I will try to extend my Sunday block to show all entries.
- Winners are announced and shown right smack dab in the middle of the Masquerade (aka Cosplay Contest) on Saturday evening.
- Entries are not shown in blocks according to their category (ie. all action entries, then all comedy entries, etc...).
