AWA 2011 Pro Video Discussion Thread

I also liked the title screen in the VAT so if you came in during a video you could see what was going on at a glance. I think that was there last year as well but I guess I noticed it more this year.

Glad to hear it. It was a last minute addition by me last year and went over decently enough, despite the projector being a piece of junk, that Quu ran with it. Hopefully it was visible and legible enough through the whole room, considering we didn't have a whole lot of room to adjust and move things around up front without getting in the audience's way.

The title cards were nice, but I would have liked to see the videos' titles more prominently displayed (say, near the top instead of the bottom left corner). I'd also suggest showing the video titles during the Pro voting stages. I didn't know the names of most of the videos in the contest until they were shown at the convention.

I was always wondering if tha VAT staff will give some direct links for downloading all the videos ?
It's the only thing we really miss from the contest. At least for Pro and Masters.
Because not everyone post their videos on this forum (it's more true for non-anime music video).

As far as I know, AWA has always left the distribution of videos to the creator's own discretion. If you're waiting on a particular video, I'd suggest asking the editor themselves.
