Hiya! congrats to all the people who made it in ^_^ and all those you submitted amvs. I've been a fan of the AX AMV Contest for years and have attended it since 2006. I started submitting amvs to the contest in 2009. I'm one of the finalist this year, first time XD, but I don't know where to go exactly. Do I wait in line to see the amv contest and wait for a ticket or is there special seating for contestants? I saw some comments about meeting at the amv panel and something about wrist braclets...

I dunno if someone can help direct me where to go and what to do, it would be greatly appriciated. Thank you ^_^

Go to the AMV 101 panel on Friday and you should be able to get bracelets. Just go to where a whole bunch of people are gathering as the panel is ending.

Make sure to say hi.

ok thank you so much! *HUGS* I'll be cosplaying as young Chrona from Soul Eater that day so I should be easier to spot (I'll be wearing black with a purple wig). I'll say hi and glomp you! thank you so much for your guidance ^_^

I just looked at the AX map, it looks like it's not in the same room that it was a couple years back. Concourse hall is the one betwen the two main halls. I've never been in it before. Is it really as small as the map makes it look because it looks like it's barely the size of two video rooms combined.

Its bigger than you think.
Its 1600 seating capacity.I know its not as huge as Nokia, but Miku will be doing set up for the day two concert so Nokia is not an option and this is the next biggest room we had.

It also looks like we are back to tickets instead of wristbands. I will be distributing them to the entrants at the end of the AMV 101 Panel again.
