Only Made one video this year.... So nothing brand spanking new to send

As long as it was made after last year's deadline, we don't particularly mind - especially if it's a theme entry XD

Our con chair supports the contest with such enthusiasm to put on a good show. That's our primary purpose - not to criticize people for "trolling" contests unless they happen to be from very far away and the shipping starts to hurt.

Due to the odd nature and specificity of it, i'm currently thinking of loosening the freshness rule on our theme category to 2 years. Would that get anyone to submit that wouldn't be able to otherwise?

I would normally be tempted to make something, but my computer now need to be mailed off for repairs (stupid laptop...mobo is all flaky).

The increase in the freshness rule would only be for the Theme category.

Well, I suppose I can send you an entry so... It has not gone to that many contests as a few videos I knwo of and it is entertaining if that help you out

Yea, I don't exactly pick the theme - the people in the closing ceremonies the previous year do (by popular vote).

We're trying to embrace it as best we can, but we realize not as many people might be into it. Next year's theme has already been picked ahead of time, and it's far more AMV appropriate... or maybe "general" is a better phrase.
