Nekocon 2011 AMV Contest September 5th deadline

Last year was a great year for Nekocon's AMV contest we had alot of great submissions. Lets see if we can top the charts with more great videos this year.

Question, are MP4s allowed? ....Cuz it seems that only MPEG2 is allowed, and I really don't want to go back and redo my entries.

(It's weird, cuz I think I sent in an MP4 for 2009 and it got accepted and won 2nd place...)

do you allow amv from the DC universe like batman or teen titans

I requested an FTP back on 3/30, and never heard back.

We prefer MPEG2, if any entries are sent outside this format the entree may have to be re-rendered, If this changes the quality of the entree it is at your risk.
We take any videos that can be considered Animation. Batman and Teen Titans would be considered animation. Though Japanese anime may be preferred, it is not disqualified. All FTP logins should go out as soon as the FTP server comes online.

Already started receiving submitions. Don't be late still about 6 weeks left till deadline. Who will be the next crystal* Nekocon trophy winner.

*Cystal Nekocon Tropghy is a large acrillic clear with the Nekocon logo a plaque with the catagory you won. This is a highly coveted trophy 3 years running.

I've got a video primed and ready, but I wanna wait until after Otakon before pulling the trigger on this one. Depending on how well received it is there, I may or may not make a second video.

Also, you should totally have trophies in the shape of a cat, and just call them Crystal Neko's.
