Ahhhh, first submission I make to a contest and no cheese. I wish I could actually be there for the convention to see if my video even makes it into the Overflow.
But oh well, my next project that I have in mind is going to be centered on Broken Blade. Good luck to everyone else,

Don't sweat it. My first 2 submissions didn't make it into Otakon. Just don't be discouraged and learn from your mistakes. :)

So here we are just a few days before the con. Are we lawyer approved? :ying:

All except for one video. If I didn't contact you, then you're lawyer approved.

Interesting, makes me curious as to why a particular video wouldn't get approved, but I suppose you aren't at liberty to say.

The only persons whose business it is are the lawyers, VicBond's, and the editor of the video in question. I just hope it gets resolved. I had my first ever Otakon submission, No Avatar for Old Men, nixed in the overflow (the year of the missing trailer category, I think you can guess what category mine was in...)

Of course this was back in my dark Windows Movie Maker days where I didn't know the difference between a codec and a container. It's a wonder I was able to sync anything at all, actually. :P

Considering the con starts in just two days, I think that if it isn't resolved already, then it's far too late. Unless they're going to work some printshop magic with the printed ballots...

I was not really curious as to which video it was, my interest is only peaked as to what type of thing gets a video disqualified. Perhaps I didn't explain very well.

It could be something obvious... Or, more likely, it might just be that he hasn't found anything else to complain about this year and fears if it doesn't look like he's doing something they won't need him in the future.
