Participation Update: You do not have to attend Zenkaikon to participate in the AMV Contest. It was never clearly stated one way or another, but this was always implied.
[Update]December 1, 2010
1 month until the deadline.
[Update]December 12, 2010:
You are allowed to submit non-final drafts of your AMV to Zenkaikon prior to the deadline, and re-submit your videos by the deadline after making corrections. If you have any questions regarding the quality, content, or any other aspect of your video, please let me know as soon as possible. If you would like any last minute advice for your AMVs, please submit your AMVs no later than December 26th. If you are going to request an FTP login for upload, please have your request in by December 26th. Logins are limited, so please upload your AMV as soon as you can.
All submissions received through December 27th - January 1st will be accepted as is, and will NOT be screened prior to the pre-screening. A notification e-mail may or may not be sent of the receipt of your AMV during this time.
If you are asked to make corrections, this is not a mandatory requirement, only a suggestion. Please keep in mind that videos are going to be pre-screened and rated on a 10 point scale, 5 points are technical, 5 points are subjective to the judge of, "is this video any good?" Videos considered too violent, sexually provocative, or contains strong language will be disqualified and not shown at any time during Zenkaikon.
[Update]December 20, 2010:
2 Weeks to the deadline.
[Update]December 27, 2010:
This is your final reminder of the deadline on January 1, 2011 at 11:59 PM, EST. All editors who have submitted a video, or e-mailed a question have been responded to. Any videos submitted at this point are considered final drafts. As mentioned earlier, FTP from Zenkaikon is no longer available for submitting AMVs.
If you have not gotten a response from me, please send me another e-mail, as it is likely I have not gotten your video, or that my e-mail to you is in your spam folder.

[Update]March 23, 2011:
The AMV Contest and AMV General Screening Playlists have been updated with some corrected video information. I ask for video confirmation information, and do not always get it. I did some searching, and I was able to find download links on animemusicvideos.org to many of the AMVs submitted. I know that many of the AMVs have links available on youtube. I will NOT post those links.
If any editor would like to upload their AMV to animemusicvideos.org, or has already done so, and their link is not provided in this playlist currently, you may contact me by e-mail, and I will add your link to the playlist.
