Yaoicon Deadline Extension

Postby The Wired Knight » Thu Aug 05, 2010 9:17 pm

All Yaoicon amvs can now be recieved by October 14th - that means all mail-in submissions must be in my hand by then and all online submissions sent to either of my con-emiail addresses.

This is not yet reflected on the web page but is effective as of this posting.

Let's see some entries :-D

Glad you posted something, because I totally forgot I was going to make something for this. I haven't made a Yaoi AMV since Dream Puppets or that one crappy loveless AMV I made. xD

Or I could just be a lazy person and just send in the loveless one.

Nah, I'll do something fun and creative instead. xD

Note to all contestants. Deadline is fast approaching in less than a month. Please send workd out to your friends that amvs are due in soon. Secondly, I will be out on vacation for two weeks and won't be back till October 6th so I will be unable to download digital entries and potentially unable to respond to e-mails till I return. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Um, I have a question. I did read the rules, so my question is probably not needed.
'Footage used in the video should be from anime series/movies/OAVs and keep with the convention or contest theme or be of shounen-ai/yaoi nature.'

That probably means MMVs are not allowed to the convention? I made a mmv a while back and would have really liked to enter it, I put a lot of effort it and do like how it came out...

Well, if only Anime footage is allowed, maybe you could consider putting a mmv category up for next year's convention, since most remarkable yaoi/shounen-ai Mangas haven't been animated.

Anyway, i hope everyone will have fun at the convention ^^

You can always send the video in anyway. If a video is dqed for not fitting into the con catagories I don't consider it barred should I add such a catagory later.

Ah, sorry for the drouble post, but I can't find the rules topic anymore and I wanted to ask wether mp4 is fine. I don't have the project file anymore, so i can only go with .mov or .mp4... Sorry for the troubles.
