And you forgot to mentioned this happened last year, and you were still in your Goku cosplay.

Maybe we could get the preshow louder at the rescreen? I might have been sitting next to you Castor, I also had a few jackasses sitting behind me who talked shit on Troy, every video, and all of the other editors during the preshow and part of the main show. I guess if you hate your community, that's your business, but to criticize other people during the show is despicable. Creators should know better than to talk during the contest. It completely ruined the preshow for me and put me in a pretty bad mood for the main show. I'm just glad they didn't come in until after mine played in the preshow.

It was so cool to see all the other editors during the AMV Chef event! Having them there to support the hobby was great! It was really awe-oh wait...the only editors that showed up were the ones that were required to show up.
Pretty lame. Vlad put on a freakin' awesome show. You guys missed out on a lot.
But at least they hung around to chat with everyone after the meet and gre- .....nevermind :/

Totally had that done to me, 2 years ago at Otakon. After I'd won 2nd place for "Gunsmith Cat City", I chatted with someone who had said that "Gunsmith Cat City" should not have even been in 2nd place. I strung him along for a little bit, and then mentioned that I made that video. Of course, we both took it in good stride, me knowing that he was hoping to see something a little more effects-heavy win 2nd, and him knowing he didn't mean to offend, but it was all in good fun.l33tmeatwad wrote:I would have totally joined in for a bit, got a conversation going, then revealed I edited my video, trololo~!DriftRoot wrote:...And in respect to the fact that the AMV editor themselves could be sitting within earshot. Yeah, it was a great show. The room was fully packed and the amv events afterwards were also packed.Radical_Yue wrote:It was so cool to see all the other editors during the AMV Chef event! I probably should have talked to the people behind me and told them I made my video. Knowing anime nerds, they probably would have gone from being complete jackasses to scared and apologetic in a second.Brakus wrote: Totally had that done to me, 2 years ago at Otakon.
